Dry Out Seriously Water Damaged Property In Just Days…

The industry leading SPEEDRY Convectant trailerised drying system using just one 13 amp or 110v socket can do the work of dozens of dehumidifiers without the need to strip the property of anything other than vapour barriers. Ideal for providing temporary heat or helping dry new construction and screeds.
We would be pleased to discuss and price any project that you decide may benefit from the system… CALL NOW and speak to our technical drying manager

How It Works

Trailer mounted drying systems are revolutionising the drying industry because the systems are fully controllable, quietly producing heat as required and are super efficient at drying.

It is industry accepted that the keys to drying flooded or wet property are:

  1. Heat and Air flow to cause evaporation from wet structure.
  2. Dehumidification.

Traditionally dehumidifiers have been the industry standard for drying wet property or buildings – two sorts have been available – Refrigerant and Desiccant. These types of drying technology have been around for 70 years and whilst they are ideal for smaller drying applications they are not as quick as the trailer mounted drying system for drying severely flooded properties. It should be borne in mind that water removal rates provided by manufacturers of refrigerant dehumidifiers are based on totally unrealistic conditions not usually to be found in the Uk. So. lets put that into perspective, ie, a well known dehumidifier maker advertises that at 26.66 deg c (or 80 deg f ) and 60% relative humidity (RH), the dehumidifer will remove 60 litres a day. Sounds great doesn’t it? BUT … at a more realistic UK 12 deg c or 54 deg f and 60% (RH), that same machine could only remove a maximum of around 24 litres – a 60% reduction. In freezing winter conditions, it would probably cease removing water altogether!

Desiccant driers are better and more efficient at drying at lower temperatures , but will still take 6-8 weeks to dry a severely flooded property. Trailerised systems are revolutionising the damage mitigation industry because the systems are fully controllable, efficient at drying, quietly producing heat as required and are super efficient at drying – The system works to produce an optimised drying environment any weather, winter or summer, rainforest or artic conditions – and even better, in any UK weather conditions.

To do this fresh, filtered clean air from outside is drawn into the machine where it is conditioned to provide heated dry air in large volumes.

This conditioned air which can be warm or hot as suited for the project, is ducted into the property where it’s heat gently warms the materials to be dried. (The heat produces conditions ranging from a warm summers day to desert hot & dry). As wet materials warm, the moisture in the materials begin to evaporate increasing relative humidity in the area. The machine constantly monitors temperature and relative humidity of the air in the drying area and exchanges it with dry air being produced by the process – over and over until the property is dry.

The result is fast drying without secondary damage caused by uncontrolled heating and evaporation. A benefit of this fast drying process is that the wholesale stripping out of building fabric, usually undertaken by the “experts” who promote traditional dehumidifiers is almost always not entirely necessary. Less strip out significantly reduces the time and cost impact resulting from serious water damage.

The trailer mounted drying system can quietly do the work of dozens of dehumidifiers all from one 13amp or 110v power supply
